Interdistrict Transfers
· Interdistrict transfer requests must be completed on an annual basis by parent or legal guardian. Fairfax School District will begin accepting requests for the next school year on the first Monday in March, annually.
· If you DO NOT live within the Fairfax School District boundaries, but would like to attend a school within the Fairfax School District boundaries, you will need to obtain an Interdistrict Transfer Request from your current school district. You will need to have your request approved by an authorized representative from your current school district. If approved by your current school district, the request will be forwarded to the Fairfax School District for review.
· If you live within the Fairfax School District boundaries and would like to attend a different school district, please visit the Fairfax School District Office, located at 1500 S. Fairfax Road, Bakersfield, California 93307 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to complete your request.
